30th Anniversary Gathering

Hi Guys,

Sorry for the long wait for this blog. Had to learn all about scanning first before posting the business cards and some of my class photos. The business cards are not arranged in any particular order. Later, perhaps, we can group them under different professions.

It was great of the organisers to put in the effort for us to meet up on the 2nd of June. This blog presents tremendous opportunities to network and keep in touch. It would be easier to organise gatherings without Jason having to cc everyone. Anyone who wants to organise any functions can also put up notices here

Views and opinions are welcome on how to make the most use of this blog.

Apologies for the not so tidy layout. Learning from scratch and should improve along the way.

Okay, now it is your turn to make comments.

(Business cards re-scanned, 20th Jun 06)

Hi Moo Sun,

Of course I remember. I think I have not seen you since I left for S'pore twenty over years ago. It is unfortunate that you could not join us for the 30th anniversary reunion. It would have been great. Hopefully, this blog will be a sort of a common meeting place where anyone of us can drop comments or organise activities or get-togethers.

THE La Salle Sentul Old Boys Association is inviting former students to have fun while raising funds at the Back to School Anniversary Dinner on Sept 21.

SMK La Salle Sentul is a partially-aided school which was founded in 1950.

La Salle Sentul Old Boys Association president Magandran Muthiah said the dinner was also to celebrate the school’s 63rd anniversary.

“The funds raised will be used to assist the school and its students. We hope to upgrade facilities such as the computer lab and library,” he said.

Magandran said they would also like to assist needy students.

The association’s secretary, Don Darrell Agustine, said they were hoping for a big turnout from the La Salle Sentul boys.

“We want to get everyone together so they can meet with students from different batches.

“We are also hoping to identify the oldest Sentul La Sallian,” he said.

Don added that guests would include the association’s adviser and former school principal Reverend Brother Ambrose Loke.

Several other former principals have also been invited while Deputy Education Minister P. Kamalanathan is expected to be the guest-of-honour.

The event will be held at the school hall on Sept 21 beginning 7pm.
